Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium jalapeno, finely chopped
- 1 tsp chipotle powder
- 4 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp liquid smoke
- Garlic Topping
- 1 cup ketchup
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 4 TBSP A1 sauce
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp course ground mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well and form into a long loaf. Place foil in bottom on pan and place meatloaf on foil. Bring edges together to form a loose seal. Cook on 300 for 1½ hours or until juices run clear. Meanwhile in a small saucepan mix topping ingredients. Heat to a simmer stirring well. Reduce heat and cook 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Pour topping over meatloaf, place meatloaf with topping under broiler for 1 min.
