Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh sweet potatoes
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup real maple syrup
  • cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Cover potatoes with water, bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 25 minutes or until tender – do not overcook. When cooled, peel and cut into chunks. Place in a baking dish. In small sauce pan combine remaining ingredient, cook and stir until mixture boils. Pour over potatoes. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
